The world’s first free flight in Italy will be held in Feltre: also interested Valdobbiadene, Vidor and Revine Lago.

From 1 to 15 July 2017, for the first time in Italy, the world championships of “free flight”, by the use of a hang glider or paraglider.

A competition area of 5,000 sq km. In the background the wonder of the views of the Belluno Dolomites and the horizon Venice and the Venetian lagoon.

150 athletes, 35 nations already vying to clinch qualification. The event will include two days dedicated to the opening and closing ceremonies, 13 regions of the actual race, and will affect an area of 5000 sq km. The core of the competitions will be the flight points of Monte Avena, the Predolomitica Chain and Valbelluna, but some specialties will see athletes committed to the skies of Friuli and Trentino, affecting the entire Venetian foothills of Caltrano (VI) to Aviano (PN) and part of the backbone thirty overlooking the Valsugana to Levico.
